My son got caught peeing on a carpet in his room and he is 12 years old. What should I do?

He may have been desperate and couldn't hold it any longer as someone was hogging the bathroom. Put a time limit on the door with rules if your a multiple family with one bathroom. First thing in the morning everyone gets only 5 minutes to brush teeth, go pee and poop, wash hands.

There are other reasons he could be doing this but please rule this all out first and see if it keeps happening. If it does have him checked out by a psychologist.

Well major question here is why was he peeing on the carpet in his room?

Do British people say 'biscuits' when they mean cookies and 'jelly' when they mean jam, instead of saying the American words for them (cookies, jelly)? If so, why?

In case of emergency for anyone, do you have a spare bucket with potty chair lid on top?

Did he knock on bathroom doors to be let in to use the toilet?

How many bathrooms do you have?

What does it mean when someone tells you they love you and want you in their life, but doesn't want to commit?

Hair drying and makeup or changing clothes gets done in bedrooms not bathrooms so shower time is 10 minutes which is plenty enough time to thoroughly wash and rinse and dry off. This will lessen the time people are using the bathroom for unnecessary things and open the door to things that are absolutely necessary like going potty. Takes some getting used to. Hopefully this helps.

Was every bathroom in use when he desperately needed one?
